Outpatient Scribing

This role is in charge of precisely and efficiently entering patient visits into the electronic medical record. The scribe will accompany a doctor or other healthcare professional and record their encounter with a patient in real-time. The following are responsibilities:

• Accurately record the patient's chief complaint, history of current illness, review of systems, physical examination, assessment, and plan;

• Ensure that all information is documented promptly; • Enter precise and thorough coding data into the patient's medical record;

• Comply with all current standards, rules, and regulations pertaining to patient care and documentation. • Comply with HIPAA requirements regarding patient confidentiality

• Have a professional, kind, and helpful demeanour towards patients, doctors, and other staff members

• Carry out any additional tasks that a doctor may assign
